Nick Aponte is a Miami-based artist, music producer, sound designer, and Emerging Technologies Librarian passionate about education and music. He holds a Master of Music Education from the University of South Florida, a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Production & Design from Berklee College of Music, an Associate of Arts in Music Performance, and a Certificate of Graphic Design from Miami Dade College.

Aponte’s professional experience includes working as an Emerging Technologies Librarian and previously as a Creative Studio Music Production Specialist at the University of Miami Libraries. He is responsible for training faculty, staff, and students using software programs, such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Sibelius, and Adobe Audition, and consulting with teaching assistants on the appropriate use of audio software used for instruction. Nicolas is also a member of the Association for Creative Technologies in Academic Libraries (ACTAL).
 
In addition to his career in education, Aponte is a talented music producer and sound designer who produces music for television, film, radio, and internet placements for national and international brands. He has worked with various creative teams to facilitate the audio production for various commercial content and received Cannes Lion Awards for his work as a music composer and sound designer.
