
Lisa Baker joined the University of Miami Libraries in August 2011 as liaison to the Departments of International Studies and Political Science and coordinator of the Libraries’ government documents collection. In 2015, Ms. Baker was promoted to the Head of Richter Library Learning & Research Services. She continues her liaison responsibilities with International Studies and Political Science.
Ms. Baker’s current appointment follows positions as Assistant Director for Public Services at the University of Houston-Downtown Library, Program Manager of the Open World Program in Moscow, Russia, and most recently, Program Coordinator for the Institute for Comparative Modernities at Cornell University.
She earned a Master’s of Russian Literature and a Master’s in Library and Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
