Kineret Ben-Knaan is the Research and Assessment Librarian at the University of Miami. In this role, Kineret provides support for the achievement of the University of Miami Libraries' strategic goals through the development of an assessment program and data-driven assessment activities related to services, collections, technology, and physical spaces. She works collaboratively with members of the libraries administrative leadership and management teams to understand, predict, and accommodate user needs as well as enhance organizational effectiveness. 

Kineret also serves as the subject liaison to the Judaic Studies program as she has both disciplinary and linguistic expertise in the area. 

Prior to coming to the University of Miami, Kineret worked as an Acquisitions Librarian for Continuing Resources at Ben-Gurion University, Israel. Her responsibilities, included data gathering, evaluation of pricing, and usage statistics analysis to support collection assessment, budget processes, and potential purchasing opportunities.

Kineret holds a Masters in Information Science, from Bar-Ilan University, Israel and a Certificate of Business Analytics, from Cornell University. She also has a B.A. and an M.A., both in Art History from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Kineret is a member of the American Library Association, Association of College and Research Libraries and the Library and Information Technology Association.
