Kineret Ben Knaan is the Director of Technical Services at the University of Miami Libraries.  Her main responsibilities include providing direction and strategic management to library staff engaged in acquiring, describing, and ensuring access to materials in all formats, languages, and disciplines. Kineret oversees the acquisition, assessment, licensing, and management of electronic resources, cataloging, metadata creation, and processing of all library materials.  Additionally, Kineret plays a vital role in licensing new agreements that follow Sustainable Scholarship principles, iterating workflows, especially around open access agreements, and ensuring access and discovery of owned and leased content.
