Jose M. Cabrera is the director of Creative for the University of Miami Libraries. He oversees content development for printed collateral, such as magazines, brochures, and promotional literature; branding and identity management; and Libraries' exhibition program in collaboration with the Exhibitions Council and Preservation Strategies. He has been with the University Libraries since 2003 and served in a variety of roles.
Jose holds a Master of Fine Arts with a focus on photography and electronic media, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Communication with dual majors in art photography and filmmaking. He has worked in production for television and motion pictures and also as a “wet darkroom” printer and electronic media artist in the photography industry.
