Faculty Profile: Ava Brillat

Ava Brillat received her MLIS from the University of South Florida in 2010 and her MA in Liberal Studies from the University of Miami in 2019.  Prior to coming to the University of Miami, she worked as an Instructional Design Librarian.  As the Program Lead for Information Literacy and In structional design, Ava focuses on building support and development to information literacy skills for students.  She works to provide instructional design support to her colleagues, both within and outside the libraries.  Finally, she focuses on leveraging information literacy and instructional design to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion into learning moments, wherever they happen.
