UM Libraries Faculty Survey

About the Survey
The University of Miami Libraries (UML) are partnering with Ithaka S+R, a national research organization, to launch a survey of all University of Miami faculty. The survey will run from October 29 to December 5, 2018.

The survey results will help UM Libraries gain valuable insight on how faculty research, teach, and publish, and how UML can plan for the right strategy and mix of services to best facilitate the needs of the UM community. Furthermore, the survey results will inform planning for a new Faculty Research Commons in the Otto G. Richter Library.

On Monday, October 29, a survey link was sent to all UM faculty and administrators from Charles Eckman, Dean of Libraries, by Ithaka (surveys@ithaka.org) with the subject header "UM Libraries Faculty Survey: Participate to shape future services.”

All UM faculty are encouraged to take the survey.

The survey should take approximately 20–25 minutes to complete; Faculty members who complete the survey will receive a $5 Starbucks eGift Card as gratitude and appreciation for their time and willingness to participate.

The survey will remain available for completion until Monday, December 5, 2018. If you have any questions, concerns, or you would like to receive additional information, please contact:
