Gisele Rocha is the manager for the Creative department at University of Miami Libraries. In this capacity, she serves as liaison among staff members, consulting with other creatives and collaborating institutions in the development of initiatives such as print and digital publications, exhibitions, and special events and programming.

Gisele is a member of the Libraries’ Well-Being Collective, a group dedicated to promoting health and well-being among the University community, and volunteers for the program as a yoga teacher. She leads the Mindful Movement sessions under the Mindfulness Practice in Community program at the Libraries. She also volunteers with the Hemispheric University Consortium (HUC) Library Network as liaison to their communications group.

Gisele brings to her responsibilities at University Libraries varied experience in commercial real estate management, technology development, and the performing arts.  A registered yoga teacher and licensed massage therapist, she is currently pursuing advanced studies in yoga, religion, and art history.
